Dear Chic Hair & Nails Clients,
We have missed you, and we are so excited to welcome you back to our salon! We have worked very hard and have put a lot of thought and effort into maintaining the same friendly and relaxed salon environment while keeping you and our stylists safe during this COVID-19 pandemic. We have always taken pride in keeping our salon clean and sanitized, and we are continuing to strictly follow the CDC and the CA Board of Cosmetology’s guidelines to protect our clients and employees. Therefore, it is extremely important that we ALL follow these policies in order to better serve and protect you. We appreciate your understanding during this COVID-19 pandemic.

We have always taken pride in keeping our salon clean and sanitized, and we are continuing to strictly follow the CDC and the CA Board of Cosmetology’s guidelines to protect our clients and employees. Clients & Stylist/Technician Safety Policy
- Services are temporarily rendered by appointment only. Please call or message us on our website/Instagram/Facebook for an appointment.
- Face masks are required to be worn at all times when inside the salon. If you forget to bring your mask to your appointment, we can provide you one for a minimal fee.
- Please call us when you have arrived for your appointment, and wait in your car. Your stylist will notify you when they are ready for you to come in for your appointment.
- Client receiving service must come individually (not in a group). There will be no waiting area in the salon.
- Each client will be asked to answer a COVID-19 screening questionnaire prior to each service and will have their temperature taken.
- Each client must wash/sanitize their hands prior to receiving their service.
- Stylists/technicians will wash their hands frequently and prior to and after each service.
- Stylists/technicians’ stations and clients’ chairs are wiped down between each service.
- Each hair client will receive a disposable cape or a newly washed cape for each service.
- Each nail client will receive a new disposable emery board, nail file, and buffer.
- There will be NO outside food or drinks when entering the salon.
- Please notify us prior to your appointment if you are not feeling well or experiencing flu-like symptoms so we can cancel/reschedule your appointment.
Salon Safety Modifications
- To protect our clients and employees, we have installed plexiglass barriers at each nail station and at the reception desk.
- Our hair stations are spaced 6 feet apart to ensure distancing between other clients and stylists.
- The common area is free of frequently touched items such as magazines, toys, etc.
- Hand sanitizers are readily available throughout our salon.
- We will clean and sanitize individual work stations between each client and at the beginning and end of the day.
- We will wipe down and sanitize frequently touched places such as door knobs, credit card terminal, sinks, etc.
